Learning Target

Students THINK they will be testing today. They have been working on their study guides for the entire unit and know they are able to use them on the test. However, students will actually just turn in their study guides and then continue to watch Mean Girls.

MOVIE FRIDAY!!!

That’s right, Mrs. Reedy and I have decided that you guys have worked SO hard on your study guides for the entire unit that we are NOT going to give you an assessment. You will be taking your SLO next week, so there’s plenty of testing to come, and that will be enough for me 🙂

If you have NOT finished your study guide, you may work on it during the movie. I will collect them at the end of class.

Please note that I will be grading this just like any other test – that means I will be looking closely at accuracy and thoughtfulness in your responses. You are welcome to use this time to “shore up” any weak ideas you may have jotted down during the unit.

Differentiation

Students have had different opportunities to work on their study guide throughout the unit; some students were given modified study guides with fewer questions or with highlighting on important questions.
