Hello everyone 🙂 My name is Mrs. Bristow and I’m excited to be in my fourth year of teaching World Literature and my second year of being the yearbook adviser here at Osborne. I love teaching my classes and I can’t wait to get to know all of my students for this semester! The only thing I love more than teaching is being a mom, but I’m still pretty new at that one. Last year, you might have known me as Ms. Spiceland, but I got married and changed my name to Mrs. Bristow. And later on in the year, I had my first baby, a perfect little daughter named Callie. She’s pretty much the coolest baby ever!
Anyway, if I’m going to be here instead of at home with my kiddo, I’m going to put a lot of effort and energy into making our class a lot of fun and having you guys learn a lot, too. One thing I will promise you is that I will always try and keep things fun and interesting, so long as you promise to always play along 🙂

Hey, Ms. Spiceland! I found a super sad song that i think would be super awesome for the unit we are doing. I posted the link, but incase it breaks, the song is called Small Bump by Ed Sheeran. It’s about a baby that he really wanted but the baby was a miscarriage. The lyrics are clean. If you listen to it, really pay attention to the last verse.
